Title: Administrative Assistant

 

Summary

This position is responsible for the first impression of all who enter the doors of the company, call for assistance for their health insurance needs or email the general address found on the website.  This person will become the friendly face at a time that may seem unfriendly or frustrating for the people who find themselves needing to contact the firm.  General office duties will also be expected.

 

Responsibilities

  • Greet all who contact or visit the company with a friendly and caring manner
  • Schedule appointments for agents
  • Compose general correspondence
  • Perform data entry
  • Manage the mail
  • Assist office personnel as needed
  • Copy, laminate, fax
  • Other traditional office duties

 

Qualifications and skills 

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office products
  • Detail oriented
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and spoken in English
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Prompt and dependable
